WT1 Antibody (DA119)
IHC (FFPE)
Description
Wilms’ tumor 1 protein (WT1) is a zinc finger transcription factor, normally expressed in tissues of mesodermal origin.1 The Wilms’ tumor gene encodes a protein that functions as a tumor suppressor gene mapped to human chromosome 11p13.2 Nuclear WT1 immunoreactivity has been observed in high frequencies in several types of mesoderm-derived tumors including epithelioid mesothelioma and ovarian serous carcinoma, and thus is used as a marker for these neoplasms.2,3,6 — Références — 1.
