Description
Thyroglobulin (Tg) is the precursor of the iodinated thyroid hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3).1 Tg is a high molecular weight glycoprotein found in normal thyroid follicular cells.1,2 Thyroglobulin is useful for identifying thyroid carcinoma of papillary and follicular types and for identifying tumors of thyroid origin when working with adenocarcinoma of unknown primary.2-5 — Références — 1.
