E-Cadherin Antibody (DA053)
IHC (FFPE)
Description
E-cadherin is a transmembrane protein that is involved in cell adhesion through the formation of adherens junctions between cells. It is expressed in cells of epithelial lineage. Anti-E-cadherin stains positively in glandular epithelium as well as carcinomas of the gastrointestinal tract1 and breast. E-cadherin immunohistochemistry may also aid in the differentiation of breast ductal carcinomas (with membranous stain) from lobular carcinomas (with loss of the membranous stain)2,3. — Références — 1.
