Arginase-1 Antibody (DA139)
IHC (FFPE)
Description
Arginase is a key metalloenzyme of the urea cycle responsible for the hydrolysis of L-arginine to L-ornithine and urea.1 Two main isoforms exist, arginase-1 and arginase-2, encoded by different genes and with different tissue distributions. The arginase-1 isoform is a cytosolic protein that is produced by normal liver tissue and is typically expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma.1-3 Arginase-1 is used as an immunohistochemical marker to aid in the identification of hepatocellular carcinoma.3,4 — Références — 1.
