NKX6.1 (RBT-NKX6.1), RMab

NKX6.1 (RBT-NKX6.1), rabbit monoclonal antibody, is a primary antibody intended for laboratory use by trained laboratory personnel in an immunohistochemical (IHC) assay to qualitatively identify the NKX6.1 protein by light microscopy in normal and/or pathological formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissue. The clinical interpretation of any staining or its absence should be performed by a qualified pathologist and complemented by morphological studies using proper controls and evaluated within the context of the patient’s clinical history and other diagnostic tests.

Clone RBT-NKX6.1 IgG Rabbit Monoclonal

Description

Homeobox protein NKX6.1 is a transcription factor that plays a critical role in pancreatic β cell function and proliferation. NKX6.1 is also expressed in the nervous system during development and plays a key role in motor neuron specification. NKX6-1 (NK homeobox 1) is also known as NKX6.1 and NKX6A. NKX6.1 encodes a homeobox-containing protein that belongs to the NKX family of transcription factors with a DNA binding domain. NKX6.1 functions as an epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition suppressor, thereby suppressing the metastatic behavior of cancer cells.
